Relationships
Today in the society we live in, guy/girl relationships are more common and less successful. Over half of today's "Christian" marriages end in divorce. Few teens ever marry the "love" they have in high school, and it is the accepted norm to go through many relationships. So why is it that most relationships today go bad? Why do most people leave relationships broken, empty?
The Purpose is Selfiish
Today most dating relationships look more like marriage. Emotionally, mentally, and physically most relationships resemble marriage. When the relationship breaks up, its like two pieces of paper that were glued together then torn a part. Each side shredded and ugly. The purpose in a relationship must be to Glorify God, not to satisfy loneliness, sexual desires, emotional feelings, fear, or popularity. If your purpose is off, your relationship will go sour.
What does the Bible say about dating? Nothing. Nowhere in the Bible is dating or anything remotely similar even alluded to.
The only reason for Dating is to find the girl which will one day become your wife, and to ensure SHE is the one you will spend the rest of your life with.
